Sphynx Cats Vaccinations
It is always important to make sure that your cat receives regular Vet care. Yearly vaccinations are a must! At Barecats we vaccinate our cats and kittens against Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, and Chlamydia Psittaci. Due to the controversy of the FIP, FIV, FeLV vaccines, we do not vaccinate against the diseases. Although, we guarantee our cats to be free of these diseases.
Sphynx Cats Temperature Requirements
The sphynx cannot tolerate temperatures that are too cold. The “ideal” temperature for these cats is 70°F / 20°C or above. During winter months I usually provide a heated bed. In the summer, I leave a blanket laying on the couch or chair, so they can snuggle up in it if they want too. Some Sphynx even enjoy wearing a sweater.
